your opinions... I’ve ordered a calcium reactor and a kamoer fx-stp to pull water through reactor. My question is. Being in Canada... I’ve read profusely on regulators and I am still in a conundrum. Carbondoser (~600$ Canadian after shipping etc) or basic old Milwaukee MA957 (148$). I have a profilux 4 and ph probe for carx and for tank. I also have a ghl kh director to assist with failsafes.

Which regulator? Saved money would go to a maxi for auto water changes.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts!!!

Invariably the carbondoser is the favored route. Never used one myself since my MA957 is going on 15 years of flawless service. I suppose at some point I’ll replace it.

What about this regulator? What else will I need?

I’ll need a needle valve and solenoid I’d think.

You will also need to replace the CGA 380 fitting with a 320 for the CO2 cylinder connection.

~ 2 months into a CR using a Kamoer fx-stp and Carbondoser. Been working great - rock solid KH that I could never achieve with 2-part.
