Heres my ISSUE. I have a Clown Tang that will ONLY EAT brine shrimp.

I ordered BRS FreezeDried Brine Shrimp CUBES in a container. 75.5% protein (holy crap)

What is the BEST liquid to rehydrate the freezedried brine?

That's the heart of my questioning. It seems like using Selcon would be a very expensive rehydration fluid

If he were my fish, I would use the rehydration as an opportunity to get something more nutritious into the food. Since he’s a tang, I would probably try phyto solution and selcon. Not sure if the dry brine will absorb the phyto but worth the experiment I think.

Have you tried live macro?

So not going into specifics on how i am auto feeding(made a device), but i use tank water using an im defroster.

This guy.
If feeding manually i use, a diy amino/vitamin blend and tank water.

I order from bulk supplements.

There are 2 mixtures i use, this is my qt mixture.
I use cystine, glycine, vitamin c, vitamin a, vitamin e, riboflavin. Do not refrigerate will crystalize, and require being warmed back up.
riboflavin is for color mostly.

tank mixture is Tryptophan, lysine, and arginine with cystine and vitamin e added for preservatives, vitamin c, vitamin a and again riboflavin for color.

caveat i am sterilizing my dropper bottles to prolong shelf life. Autoclade -> acid wash-> Distilled water-> naoh wash ->Distilled water.

was debating selling so went a little overboard when i started ordering supplies. But still testing if the benefits merit this, snake oil is not my thing lol.
