Reinforcing used tank stand

This is an old stand that I’ve had for a while and has had no major problems although some water has made it way into the stand, is it best to just retire it or any way to reinforce it ?


The wood has swollen some on the middle left side near the sump but it’s 100% dry and solid hard.

It looks like veneered particle board to me.

If thats the case, i would think about upgrading to solid wood or aluminum.

I have reinforced particle board stands before but once they get wet, all bets are off.
