What happened if you are adding new corals? You will have to lower your light intensity or put them into acclimation mode each time you add new corals? How would that effect the rest of the corals that already acclimated? Thanks

I prefer to set new corals on the sand bed, then every or so move them a little bit up the rocks. That way, you aren't changing the lighting completely, only acclimating the coral to it's spot. Might I ask, what is it a frag of?
Good luck, and God bless!

I agree with the sand bed approach or a frag rack set lower in the tank or at the back of the tank where par sits around 90-150. I've had success with both approaches I would normally rest them there for a few weeks and then move them to there more permanent spot. Now that I've moved to a QT system it's made acclimation easier, the tanks share water and the light in QT is typically lower and adjust accordingly. If you have the room I'd highly suggest a QT tank.
