im sure a lot of you already know this but for those of you that don't. Remember to calibrate your ph on your apex somewhat regularly. I had no idea it could be so off. I have to admit that I haven't calibrated it in over two years. My ph was showing from 8.40-8.60 which is oddly high. I knew it was night but I've also learned not to mess with it because you usually end up doing more bad than good especially if the creatures seem fine. I had to order some stuff online so I figured I'd order some solution just to see if by any chance it was the probe reading incorrectly. To my surprise, my reading of 8.56 was really 7.95. So remember kids, don't forget to calibrate! Lol

Good advice. Mine also tends to drift upwards as it loses calibration.
