So i have a few chalices i would like to remount, can i just slide a razor blade under them and pop them up? i would use my band saw but it broke and im waiting for the part to come in 2-3 weeks.... Any ideas?

Yes, the one im looking to do is on a 1 inch plug, but i would rather have it on a 3 inch disk so its flater and no down growth. The othewr one is still smaller then the glue used so ill just pop off the glue.

I would wait for the band saw to be fixed then, I think you risk a-lot trying to do it with just a razor when it's grown onto the plug already. Just my opinion :)
Good luck man!

Agree. If the tissue is on the plug, I would be real careful. Would hate to see you lose a chalice just to place on a bigger plug. You can always let it grow over the smaller plug and then mount on a parger tile or plug...just a thought. Or the bandsaw would make quick work of it as stated above.

You could also drill a hole in the larger disc so it is the size of your smaller one and just glue it in flush with the new one.

Haha, check my Chalice Fragging video. I explain how to remove chalice corals from plugs in the easiest way possible with bone cutter/pliers.
