I've been lucky in never needing to pull out many corals or rock to remove pests or algae but I am curious how many of you scape your rock and or place corals wo gluing them or something, basically so that everything is removable?

How often have you found removing things to do work useful and under what circumstances? Maybe it comes in handy when one particular bad thing happens. How do you think about making things removable in a larger tank or do you just glue stuff down and not worry about it?

All my rock is removable. There are some rather large 35-40lbs pieces. But it can come out. My corals will be attached however.

It's all removable but I guess what I am asking is to what extent do you try to make the rock and corals easily removable? And what things do you foresee happening that could require that removal?

I'll build a 'scape in modular sections so it's easier to take it out if/when needed. Then always take a photo of it before I take the pieces out so I can remember how to put it back in. Memory is always hard.
