I recently bought a large rock of polys the other day and realized there was a couple small blastos growing under them. What’s the best way to remove polys from a rock? The only thing I’ve fragged are hard corals. How concerned should I be about poly toxins? Thanks!

Do you mind explaining what you mean by 'blasto' since there are a couple different things out there with that abbreviation. Second - why do you want to remove them?

if trying to remove zoa get an exacto knife or razor blade and try to get under the zoas.

Palytoxin is not all as dangerous as people say. It’s definitely nothing to joke with but as long as you use gloves, eye protection, and don’t wipe your eyes or mouth you will be okay.

Best of Luck,
