Removal of GSP - Kalk or other method

Hello,

so I have a area of my rockwork where GSP is starting to thrive, and I want to remove it altogether as it is on a main rock structure. currently it is encrusting the top round area, but will eventually become a problem. I did a little research in other threads and it looks like Kalk is an option. As anyone else used Kalk to get rid of it. And if so, will I need to immediately remove it shortly after I use Kalk? The last thing I want to do it kill it and then create another problem such as a nutrient spike. I can do a little at a time. The entire area is probably not much larger than 2-3 inches in width, so I want to deal with it now before it really spreads

Ok, thanks for the info. I will make sure to have a small plastic putty knife on hand ..probably could do a little dry wall patching when I am done with the GSP project...haha
