I have a nuvo 20 with 2 small clowns, a hi fin goby, pistol shrimp and sexy shrimp. Theres not a lot of rock but Id like to rescape it and also redo the rock Im sure the pistol has completely dug out. Should I remove all of them, so the scape how I like and re add them? Want it to be as stress free as possible as I know the pistol is going to be very mad I removed his caves lol or should I try doing it with them in there?

If you can reaquascape safely, no need to remove, however if it's a tight fit, you might as well remove the shrimp to make sure you don't accidentally smash any of your pets (it happens). The fish will be fine when you aquascape, the shrimp will be fine if you go slowly and make sure you don't lay down rocks on top of them, but it's always a risk.

Bottom line- remove the shrimp ;)

hi ,either way you do,try not to disturb sandbed,i would do with fish in,less stress, jmo :)

Nope, its best to get them out during this time. Could crush one in moving the rock and placing the new rock.
