Safely removed the large polyps that were taken over my tank. About 25% of the live rock went with it. All 6 fish and inverts seem fine. Lost a nice ricordea, parts of montiporas and a chalice. Candy cane seemed to shrivel up, but it’s coming back! Waiting on live rock and live sand to replace some lose.

Do you have a before picture we can see?

Added Life Rock to replace all rocks with polyps I removed. Had to rearrange some rocks and coral. Purchased 2 ricordea and two blasto plugs. Removed most monti but having a problem with one. It is encasing a large rock I need to keep!
Anything I could do with this monti? Can I place the new coral plugs on top of the brown monti? Can I place large green monti pieces on top? It is an ugly coral that is now my centerpiece.
