i had a blue chromis die. He is pinned under a very large rock that cannot be removed. While trying to remove him he broke in half leaving half the carcass in the tank. Tank has about 110 gallons total water volume. Will such a small fish have much of an impact on chemistry?

Unless your tank is very new or you don't have much in the way of a CuC it shouldn't cause a problem at all. Just test for ammonia if you are concerned.

Your cleanup crew should take care of him, but you will still see an impact with algae.
