Might be a silly question, but i had a bit of a brown algae bloom, and my green star polyp are mostly covered. i tried blasting with turkey baster, it didnt work too well. so i put a couple of astrea snails directly on the rock with the GSP. any advice on if this will be ok or better ways to get it off.

Blowing it off is your best bet. Are you addressing the dinos?
okay sounds good, maybe ill take the piece out and shake it in a bucket of the tank water. and yes its a fairly new set up so its to be expected but yes dealing with them! i was more wondering if the snails would effect the gsp or vice versa, thanks for the help, cheers

I had a layer of green algae on mine so yesterday I blasted them with a turkey baster and scrubbed the harder to get off stuff with a toothbrush. The good news is I can now tell the mat is purple, the bad news is they’re all sulking and not speaking to me
