Removing an Anemone

What type of anemone is it and is it in a crevice or not? I usually try to direct flow at them if they are in a crevice, and they usually move out on their own where I can get them. If not in a hole, I put my finger gently against the base of the nem and sort of rub towards it gently. Make sure you aren’t pushing too hard, or pressing it against the rock though. You don’t want to damage the foot. They retract usually and then will start to lift their foot on the side you are “rubbing”. Think of it like trying to gently lift a bandaid. You just want to get one side of the nem lifted and you will then be able to slide your finger under it, and very slowly as you do this, it should detach.
