I am nearing the end of my 30 day ich treatment I have copper power running at 2.4ppm (Hanna copper checker) My qt tank is just bare bottom with pvc fittings. I have read that Cuprisorb is better at removing cupramine and “poly-filter”? Is better at removing copper power. What is the correct poly filter to use? I just want to make sure I am buying the correct stuff.

Thanks in advanced.

Cant you just run charcoal to get it out?

Activated carbon can be used but is much slower than other methods. Poly filter will remove copper power quickest, Cuprisorb will remove it but slower than poly filter.
Oh ok didnt realize that thanks

The nice thing about Cuprisorb is that it is reusable. You recharge it using muriatic acid that easily purchased at hardware stores. You can recharge it over and over again.

I just do a 100% WC, and run carbon for 24 hrs and it's gone. Carbon takes care of the little bit left from HOB.
