Removing copper

Nothing at the moment, I treated a fish with coppersafe but it died.
I just realized I can just empty the tank and start over just as easily.
I have a concern about my main tank that all but one fish died. I have a watchman goby that survived and shows no sign of disease, I can’t catch him so I just left him alone. If I don’t get him out and quarantine him will I be risking whatever disease killed everyone will remain in the tank since there’s still a fish in the tank ?
My lfs said I can just leave him in there but I’m worried even if I wait the normal disease cycle that it’ll just remain dormant until I add a new fish ??

FWIW, the tank needs to be cleaned carefully if you intend to put inverts into it. Simple dumping isn't adequate.

I don't have much useful advice on the fish, but if it were me, I'd just monitor it.
