I purchased a couple frags over the weekend and was wondering if I should separate the coral. Thoughts and opinions?

All of those polyps will spread and fight for surface area to cover. I am not certain which will displace the others, or if they will cohabitate? (The star polyps on the right frag plug appear to be closed next to the large zoa, so those zoas seem likely to croud out the star polyps with time?)

SO, you can let them grow and see what you end up with or you can separate them and let them grow together with more space between them if you like? It's up to you.

Note: Star polyps and Xenia are recommended to locate on their own rock "island" because they are nortorious for growing like weeds and taking over the entire rock scape.

The disk on the right doesn't have GSP. It's green pipe organ. I believe. There is a small piece of GSP on the back side of the left one. I will definitely cut and move that to a different area of the tank. Thanks for the advice.
