Will straight distilled white vinegar damage rubber parts on Hydor Koralia if the pump is left in the vinegar for 24 hours?
I know it dissolves the coralline well, but does it weaken the rubber too?

you will be fine...vinegar is only 5% acetic acid
calcium carbonate however will dissolve very fast in vinegar...

It is probably clean aleady but i wont be able to get back to my house to take it out of the solution until it has been in it for about 18 hours at least. Thats why I am worried about the rubber. I have done it before for only a few hours and it worked great.

I soaked mine for nearly a day and a half. It won't hurt anything.

Everything is super clean now! My pumps look like new. Distilled white vinegar cleans like a champ.
Looking back, I should have taken before and after shots. Oh well, maybe next time.
