Removing Firework Polyps From Plug

I'm looking to remove from firework polyps from a frag plug to glue on the scape.

Can I run a razor underneath the polyps to detached them like with a toadstool or should I chip away at the plug with bone cutters like with zoas?

Either. You can usually get some tweezers and they’ll peel off from the base. Razor blade underneath would work also. Why not just leave them on the plug? They’ll grow over it quickly. You could always trim away the excess plug if it’s too big?

I prefer to cut the plugs. I feel they grow better.
