Meredith...first of all my bf's infection seems better...even gone after treatment w. focus and meto...now the lymphocytes...I have a cbs, but there not together much...its on his right fin...dying to take my fingernail and scrape it off...as far as nutrition goes...he eats mostly cyclops and fresh little-necks because of his small mouth...I feed a good variety to the rest, but he won't eat it...bought copepods but you can't really see them, he picked a little...but not much...any remedy here...(fingernail)...I've also tried gelatin and pellets and selcon in a shell...he picks but it clouds up the water pretty bad...any advice...Keno_O

Hi Ken. You don't want to remove Lympho unless it is interfering with the fish's breathing or eating. Butterflies are very prone to lympho so it's not surprising that he would have a bit. Just keep up with your healthy feeding and clean water and low stress, and it should go away on it's own.

Healthy diet, good water quality, and stress free environment. I've scraped it off but found it comes back, it's best to let it run it's course. It usually runs it's course in about a month plus/minis. I have a pair of bluejaw triggers that came in with it, cleared in qt then popped up again right when I put them in dt. Now going on 2 years later clear. A majestic angel popped up when I first put in dt, cleared up almost right away now clear for going on 2 years as well. If you keep those 3 factors in check it will run it's course and you'll probably nver see it again.

As I said, the feeding is limited because of the small mouth...water seems OK , but he usually has a feint black area which could be stress...I've plenty of lr, but he seems to stay out near a wall in the night...doesn't seem to hide in a cave or anything...not being particularly bothered more than any of the others...are live clams nourishing enough...that and cyclops?...Thanks...

He should be fine with those. Can you post a recent photo of him for us?
