Removing magic from Tunze ato

Anyone have a solution to attach the Tunze nano ato float switch to the side of the tank without using the magnet?

woke up this morning to 3 lilies of top up water dumped into my tank, I’ve heard the magnet can be the issue.

If the tank glass is too thin the magnet is too strong, so you will need to add something thicker to the side so the magnet does not pull on the float switch.

I have 2 spacers, one an acrylic disc and the other the spacer from an MP10.

Maybe add spacers until the magnet just supports the float switch
