What’s up guys!!
Real quick question, I plan on removing some play’s that have taken over some prime real estate in my tank.
I have an RODI canister that I repurposed with a 1 micron filter with an inline pump I made to use to gravel vac and return water back into tank with minimal water loss. It works really good at catching all the nastiness and keeping water loss way down for regular maintenance. I want to use the same process to suck out the paly’s with a ss straw like in a video I saw. I’m just concerned of the toxins released. Can I just load up the center of the filter with activated carbon and catch the toxins that way and how to I dispose of the palys safely once outta the tank?
I’m pretty sure they’re the toxic variety but could be wrong.
