How would you go about removing a year and a half tropic eden reef flakes from your system? I've been sucking it out slowly evertime I do a water change but it doesn't remove much at all this way. We have a huge swap here the weekend after Mardi gras called fragniappe and I'd like to have it all out by then. To many reasons to go into why other then I hate this sand . I'm about ready to start scooping out cup fulls at a time but I know that could be a disaster. Thanks for any advice given.

It all depends on how well you kept it since its been set up and how long its been setup. If its been regularly maintaied I use just the hose part of my siphon and suck it all into a bucket. Ive done my entire tank in one shot but I siphon my bed every week. If its not do 25% a week
