Renato's 120g reef

Absolutely beautiful. I love what you have done with the new Aquascape. It is now one of the best tanks I have ever seen. I know you were struggling with SPS before what do you attribute your success with them now to? Thanks and take care
Thank you so much! I keep the parameters steady as I can. Calcium reactor helped a lot. Took me a wile to dial to what I wanted to. Doing AWC helps too. Corals were better when I had high nitrates. Now with low nitrates sps’s are not so colorful as before.

Yea you nailed it. Too many people put to much on their sand bed and try to pack to many coral with no negative space. It just ends up looking cluttered. It looks perfect with the boomies and a few corals on each. Your purple stylophora is gorgeous.
Yes I agree! I have this stylo for 4 years now. It was a frag about a half inch long that I was going to trash it. I didnt know what it was. It came with some sand from a friends house when I first started my 60g cube. I placed in a frag plug, in the back of the tank for a long time. Im glad I didnt throw it away

Its been a couple months that I dont post here. I had some issues with the tank. I lost e few corals due to a calibration fluid that was too old, and it was reading wrong ppm. I had a salinity of 1.030+ all my parameters were off. Its been a month that I slowly fixed it back to normal.
