I just got a Brand new JBJ 45 rimless for free with the back glass broken, can that be replaced?

Well if it’s all one piece then sorry no but if it’s the shape your worried about you can re order that shape

Because when you said rimless for some reason i thought this tank had a sump below and some kind of corner over flow

They did send me a replacement, I was just going to try fixing it, the back panel is the one that’s broke and it’s a separate from the rest of the tank

This is fixable. My approach would be
1st measure and re order that glas LxWxH
2nd get your self a 10 oz cartridge of black aquarium safe silicone BRS has some but you’ll need a caulking gun
3rd you’ll need to cut the seams of caulking that hold that piece of glass to get the glass out.
Then clean off any caulking or residue from your tank before siliconing your new piece on.Make sure everything is dry before applying silicone. And wait 24-48 hours for the silicone to cure before adding water

Oh sorry i didn’t see this post till after i saw your pic and wrote back. That’s awesome they sent you another panel just watch some you tube videos. Your location is not the worst place for glass replacement considering the amount of pressure on other panels in most tanks

They sent me another tank and stand, and told me to just keep the broken tank, so I figure I’ll just fix it or sell as is with the stand
