It's not a JBJ but I'm hoping someone in the AIO community here can help me out. A over a year ago I purchased a Nuvo 30, but was unable to set it up due to a military reassignment.
Fast forward to two weeks ago I was finally to set the tank up but unfortunately the tank only last a week before the bottem cracked. The tank was fully supported on a leveled stand so I'm not sure why it cracked.
I contacted IM and they said there's was nothing they could do because I was outside the one year warranty regardless of the tank not being set up. Since I can't get a replacement I was wondering if there was any way to simple replace the bottom glass?
I was considering removing the glass and replacing it with a piece of plywood treated similarly to the ones used in the plywood aquarium projects. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

First off as VEt, Thank you so much for your service.
I supposed that you could take non tempered glass the same size as the old and re silicone it back it.
I'm not a expert on them. I don't know about plywood although I would think that you would need at least 1/4 to 1/2 in to be safe.

Thank you for your service,

Please post up a picture and we can better evaluate it.

By the time one tears down a small tank and reseating the glass, it would be best to get a new tank.

Thank you . I've already moved everything to a 29g i had sitting around but I hate feeling like I wasted my money on this tank.
