replace iwaki 100rlt 22 years old with DC - suggestions please

I have a system where the returns are in the basement. 16 -20 head pressure. I think one of two of my iwaki 100rlt is giving out. At that head pressure they are each pushing 1200 gph back up to the tank.
However, one is running really hot. temp in reef is at 81.0 .. usually runs around 79 to 80.. I think after two decades of service I will need to replace.
Suggestions please if there is a DC pump that can do pressure like that...

I also pump up from my basement. I was investigating DC pumps, but there wasn't much out there. Abyzz seemed to be the only DC pump that could do it. They are nice pumps with great warranty, but pretty pricey. I ended up going with a iwaki.

You are not going to find a DC pump in any reasonable price range that will push that kind of flow at that head.

In general "DC pumps" are not that much more efficient, they just use less wattage because they do less work. They are also much more dependent on electronics and therefore much less reliable.

Buy another Iwaki and get another 22 years out of it.

i was betting that was going to be the reply... I looked into this about 5 years ago Abyzz.. was the only option and that was a 2k drop times 2.... I have two MDS-100rlt pushing water up. These along with my other pumps tend to keep the water at 80 . I ditched the chiller years ago... was keeping it at 78 but that was just adding to the cost of electric ...

Any magnetic drive pump is going to impart a substantial amount of its power into the water as heat, they are "water cooled" pumps. Pushing 1200gph of water 20' high is going to take roughly the same amount of work (wattage) regardless of the pump style.

will do a deep clean and see why the one is running hotter..
