Replace Live Rock

The rock in my tank is covered with red turf algae. If I replace the rock with fully cured live rock will it cause any type of cycle/mini Cycle?

As long as it's fully cured LIVE rock you should be good to go.

Ah yes, it does look similar to the red coralline. It's a bit rarer than the purple stuff but I like it in my tank

My 2 urchins removed all of it from my 120.

Pull the rock and scrub with a stiff bristle brush In a bucket of old tank water. Clean the sand while you have the rock out. You may also spray the bad areas with peroxide. You may have to do some rocks more than once. Get a couple urchins as mentioned above. You will be happy with the results. It won’t take to long, and you can do a couple rocks at a time. This worked for me.

This looks like Cyano mats.
