Hey all! just need some suggestions for a replacement of my Jebeao CP-55. It keeps turning itself off and much to my dismay it wont be fixed for more than 24hr no matter what i do. It is 3 or 4 years old so just is what it is.

Looking for something that would work well in my 110G it its 40"w, this 555 i only ran at 40% anyways so is there a decent product that is a better choice than just rebuying this one?
what is your thoughts?

If you like that type and style and if it worked well for you then I would replace with same or similar maybe a less powerful one to have on full power. I have 2 X jaebao wavemakers in 45g aquarium, one 5 watt and other 10 watt, 10watt was about £55 and 5 watt around £45, both are linked to one unit for control/ feed speed etc, I'm still working out placement of each for good flow but they seem to have good turnover on full :) :)

Newer generation Jebao gyres are doing better on reliability. The cp55 gave you a few years of good service, I assume? I'm using a scp-70 on my 50g cube and will be using a scp-120 on my 120g next week when I get water back in it.

I looked at some of the other brands instead of the jebao scp-120, but I said the heck with it due to everything else either being triple the price or utter garbage and triple the price. If the scp120 gives me 2 good years of service, it's a win.

P.S. I was totally AGAINST gyre's until recently. Vertical mounting was a game changer for me.
