I've done several tanks and use aluminum angles. Home Depot - aluminum angles They have 1/8th & 1/16th thickness. I recommend 1/8th for the bottom depending on your stand. If you have an Ace Hardware near you check with them first, I found a couple stores that had the 8ft. angles on close-out for $2.00 each!!! Here is a 7ft. 210 I finished a couple months back. I'm working on another 210 now.

What type of screws and brackets did you use for the corners?I picked up an old 125g tank but previous owner painted the frame white and not well. I want to replace it. Any suggestions on where i can get a replacement top and bottom frame. The tank is 18x72
I would also love to know what Hardware you used since I'm a fabricator and that looks amazing

I have bought replacement frames from Over the Edge for a 90gal tank. They look like they came from the same molds are the originals and good customer service as well. The shipping is a good part of the total cost though.I've heard nothing but good things about this site, might help

Home Depot - Aluminum Angle Bar they come in different thickness. 2 in. x 96 in I remember Ace Hardware had them on clearance for $4-5 each so I loaded up on them.
