Replacement XR15w G4 Pro Lens/Optic Melted

My HEI lens melted!! I need some help. Light is less than a year old and still under warranty. Will Ecotech send me a replacement lens/optic? See picture attached.

I did a factory reset on my XR15 G4 Pro, which defaulted the light to 100%. I placed the light faced down on the table for no more than 4-5 minutes while tinkering with then I smelled something burning. Turned it over and my HEI lens has melted!

I know ETM is really good with their service, if I were you I would call and tell them the truth and see what they would do as I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with the service you will receive as they do take care of their customers. I have just recently dealt with them and the service I received from them was beyond exceptional @ecotechmarine

I had the same thing happen to me but it was totally my fault. I accidentally turned on the light while it was laying on the floor. It melted the HEI optic lens (not as bad as yours). As I recall, I called ETM and they replaced it free of charge.

I just gave ETM a call and they will replace it for me free of charge! They're super awesome and thank you both for your input! Phew!
