Hey all! Just as in the title, it’s time to get the wire out of the tank. I am replacing my 2 Tunze 6015 with 1 MP10 in my IM 40 AIO. Anyone have any insight as to good placement would be?

It mainly comes down to the size of the tank. Also, have you though about 2 mp10's, that way the flow will be coming from 2 different directions.

Ultimately that’s what I want but, at $300 a piece it’s a slow go.

Could you use one Tunze and the MP10, and down the road upgrade to a 2 MP? They are costly, so I do understand.

I could do that, I was just thinking with the tunze only pushing 475 gallon I could possibly go with 1 and move it to the back glass

I would, and put the MP10 on the reef crest mode, thus giving you some turbulent water movement.

Sounds like a plan! Totally new to MP’s so any advice is always welcomed. Thanks!

The Ecotech MP10 was a purchase I have never regretted my biocube32. After nearly 3 years it works perfectly. I agree with having a set for optimal flow. I will be adding one more to the tank very soon after reading this post has reminded me. Thanks
