i have just replaced a clown fish as one of my paired clowns was eaten by a gorilla crab. I have subsequently fed the gorilla crab to my harlequin tusk in another tank. Question is the new little clown I have added has spent the past 2 days in the same spot, hasn't eaten anything and also hasn't been attacked by the original female clown who is super territorial. The meeting of the two clowns has been very un eventful, however the little clown I introduced seems like it is sulking. Any ideas? It's been such a long time since I have added a clown I can't recall if this is normal behaviour before they start hanging out together. If anything when I added them the female did the shaking dance not the new little clown??? Thoughts anyone??

Sounds like typical new clown behavior. They are often reluctant to eat and reside in one area that they consider a host. No aggression between the two is an excellent sign. If the new clown starts breathing rapidly and hanging out next to powerheads or overflows post again.
