Replacing brass connectors from Camco 5/8" hose

Any suggestions for replacing the brass connectors with plastic? I have been using this for water changes but understand the brass fittings could be a problem.

I use this hose with the Sicce submersible pump that has the 3/4" regular garden house male threads.

I use something similar to these. Not these, but closest I could find, as the ones I got at tractor supply a while back. They are 100% plastic and a compression fit when tightened down to the hose. So far so good for almost 2 years on my water change station. I will be honest and would not use them outside or under a lot of pressure, as I did try some to repair a garden hose and when full of water and pressure, if pulled to hard, they come loose a little.

The Sicce submersible pump does not create to much pressure I don't believe so hopefully this works, I'll give it a shot, thank you.

I am using an old mag12 pump and have no issue with them on it. I have to run about 35 feet from mixing station to tank and have about 8' of height difference from station to tank, so I am sure there is some pressure in my setup and there are fine so far.

Only issue I had was 80 or so psi water pressure and tugging a hose too hard outside lol. But that is to be expected with a simple compression fitting and not something that actually "bites" into the hose.
