Replacing JBJ 28 return pumps with Sicce 1.0 pump

Has anyone replaced the standard/original JBJ 28 return pumps with Sicce 1.0.
I have been led to believe that the Sicce 1.0 pump will fit and is very quite. My wife said either find a quiter pump or the tank will have to go.

I need a really quite pump.

Any AC pump is going to be heard even a little bit. The Sicce is certainly and upgrade and will be a lot quieter. I'm not sure if it'll fit but measure the compartment to see if this will fit

A DC return pump would be dead silent. The big downside is they cost more.
