I've got to get it replaced sooner than later before I get in a jam. Pump is submersed in my sump and just pumping water back into the DT.

Current pump is a Catalina Aquarium CA 1800 rated at 635 gph. Part of me wants to take the MJ1200 off my reactor and use that until I can get another one.

Any recommendations by you guys?

eheim all the way....1260 or 1262. Im a big fan of upsizing the pump. then in the future when you want to add a reactor or other item you can "t" off the main supply.

I just replaced a mag 9.5 with a 1262. couldnt be better!!

If you want cheap price but still very good quiet and durable then go with ecoplus pumps. I think the 700gph one is about $45 i think at the Critter. Ive had numerous ecoplus pumps of all sizes and run them on both my dt and qt
