So here's my situation.
This is the unit I have, the Typhoon 5 stage RODI 75gpd Aquarium Water | Reverse Osmosis | RODI Water | ReefKeeper Water | Typhoon 5 stage RODI Reefkeeper 75 GPD Aquarium Water Guru have a TDS meter installed, and the water coming out has been 000 for the longest time, with the water coming in having a TDS of around 375. Just recently, during the last water change, the meter said 001 and 002 for the water coming out.

So I'm guessing its time to replace the filters?

So what do I need? one of each of the filters that are hanging down, and do I need to replace the DI unit on top?

If you're referring to the water coming out of your DI unit, then you would most likely have to refill with fresh DI resins. Everybody's raw water is different, how much water they make, and may have different replacement schedules. In my case, I replace my sediment filter about every three month's, my carbon block about every 6 month's, and my DI resin about once a year. My unit is about 3 years old, and I have yet to replace the membrane. Remember each filter is designed to protect the next one in line, starting with the sediment filter. The membrane is the workhorse of the system, with a certain rejection rate, while the DI resin removes the remaining TDS that get through the membrane.

You need 3 TDS readings to troubleshoot a RO/Di system.
Tap water TDS, RO only TDS before the DI and final RO/DI TDS.

At a minimum you need a new DI cartridge or resin refill. if the unit is 6 months or more old you should replace the sediment andcarbon block filters and personally I would look for lower micron, absolute versions rather than your stock configuration of 10 micron sediment, 5 micron carbon and 1 micron carbon. My suggestion is a 0.5 or 1.0 micron asbolute rated sediment followed by a single 0.5 or 1.0 micron carbon block and turn the empty second carbon in to a second DI for best bang for your buck. Two carbons are old school and not of any benefit to you.

For replacement filters and DI I suggest www.spectrapure.com or www.buckeyefieldsupply.com and possibly www.purelyh2o.com . I used to have a Typhoon III and wan't very happy with its performance. I replaced it with a Maxcap and my DI life immediately went from 150 measured gallons per DI cartridge to 830 gallons on the first cartridge and over 1000 gallons ever since. Huge difference and big cost savings.
