Hey guys,
I have the spec v 5 gal and have a quick question. I've cycled and have a small CUC (2 turbos, 2 Hermits) along with a cleaner shrimp, goby and neon green montipora . Now i want to replace the stock filter with an Imtank media basket. The usual filter floss, chem pure elite and purigen. My question is this. When i remove the old filters and put on the new stuff, will it remove alot of good Bacteria? Or will i be okay? What should i expect? Are there specific steps i should follow?

If you have rock and sand, you will have all the biological filtration you need. Changing filter material or even a whole filter unit won't effect your cycle.
