Even though I have been in the hobby a couple years now I have never had to replace the bulbs in my t5 setup. At the year mark I have always upgraded my tank and lights. I currently have a 6x80w t5 with 3 blue+, 2 coral+ and a purple+. I just received my new bulbs 4 blue+ and 2 coral+. How should I replace them? ...2 blue+ and a coral+ then wait a few days and do it again? Or replace them all and just decrease the photoperiod? Thanks for the help

I always change 2 bulbs every 3-5 days. And depending on corals sometimes raise fixture up an inch or 2 and lower it back down after 3 weeks or so.

I usually change out 1 bulb per week until all bulbs are changed. I just don't want to shock corals from the new intensity.

^ Both good ways to do it. I have done it both ways with no issue. I have also changed them all at once and just raised the light and shorten the photo period.
