Hello I have this 1200 Modular Marine Overflow planned for the tank build. It is a Beanbag animal setup with three 3/4” Uniseals. I heard Uniseals are unreliable for various reasons and result in leaks. How do I replace it with a 3/4” bulkhead as they require different hole size. Thank you!

Interesting, never heard of " uniseals." just did a quick search. I'd like to learn more. Like how do they work.

I think Uniseals are kinda like a alternative to Bulkheads. They are rubbery and are commonly used for soft and curved surfaces such as buckets and plastic containers. Just heard they aren’t reliable for the tank itself.

Uni-seals are typically used on curved or non"flat" transitions. Once the pipe is inserted it makes a water-tight seal. Mostly used on Brute cans or other water change containers. While not the best for an overflow situation a viable option depending on space available.

I see thanks, Makes perfect sense. The pliability will fit curved surfaces. Cool !

If memory serves, the lower capacity MM models use uniseals, the larger ones bulkheads - not entirely clear to me why. I would just ask MM to make it with bulkheads for you. If you already have the unit, then you will have to overdrill the holes; though make sure the bulkhead flange fits inside the box first.
