Requesting: Detailed Instruction on Curing Dry Rock

Best practice seems to prescribe 'throw in a heater'... but I haven't seen a recommended target temperature. Is the idea to roughly match what will be in the DT?

Living in Central Florida my garage temperature is 80+ degrees most of the year. Am I wrong to assume a heater wont be necessary?

10-4. I just purchased a bunch of marco reef rock. I think I'm just going to pre-rinse in vinegar for an hour, then dip in RO/DI water, and then let it cycle in a bucket of RO/DO saltwater for a week or two with some Microbacter 7. I'm on a bit of a timeline to get this up and going (dare I say). Sound reasonable?

Yes sounds reasonable but that said.

There are many ways to start a tank. Your way will work BUT only through testing the water column, can you determine when the tank/rock will be ready for livestock.
A week or two might be cutting it close.
Need to test until you see the nitrate spike.
Mr. Saltwater has a video out and he pretty much does everything in one day.
Rock water bacteria and livestock.
