Hello there,
Picked up this frag in a lfs trade recently, owner referred to it as a green Medusa (Google disagrees). It came from a mother colony where give it six fingers all grew off the same base, looked identical to this one. She behaves like any self respecting lps, feeders retracted during the day and out at night. What's neat though is they do come out of the top exclusively, giving it a very Medusa-ish look (in between favia and lobo length). Tried to capture a pic of extended polyps this morning, but it retractes ACTIVELY (I'm talking anemone speed) as soon as the lights come on.
If anyone has any ideas, I'll be super grateful. Looking for best practices in flow, lighting and feeding if known.
Many thanks,
RBR
