I decided I want to rescape my tank to give it a face lift. I'm unhappy with one side of the tank especially.

I don't want to redo the entire tank, I don't want to take the sand out. I want to make this easy and effortless as possible. that one side of the tank does have corals but I think I can easily move them without damaging them.

I have dry rock from my old tank. I'm thinking of taking out some rocks from one side of the tank and replacing it with dry rock. Wait a while, few weeks or something to make sure the tank is still stable, then do the other half.. is that feesible? All the while trying not to disturb too much of the sand bed?

any advice? tank is 75g btw.

Just rinse the new rock and toss it in. Dry rock will take time to cure. Or if you want and have a sump toss the new(dry)rock in the sump let sit for a few weeks and then move it to display.
