Rescaping help

Hi everyone, this is my first tank and I’m looking to rescape it to make it look like a shallow lagoon tank, I’m looking for tips on the scape as well as how I can do it while not disturbing my livestock too much

If it was me, an easy solution would be to remove the middle rock altogether. By doing this you will automatically create a two island scape, with minimal effort. This will change the look drastically, and give you a little more swimming room.
