I have a 55 gallon tank, it has 60 lbs of dry sand, 52~ lbs of dry rock, and 8 lbs of live rock. Dosed with Fritz ammonium chloride and some MicroBacter XLM. Starting to see a lot of nitrites/nitrates as the ammonia level is slowly coming down from 2.5 ppm to the 1.x range. I had the brilliant idea of "Hey, there's no fish in this tank, while I'm waiting on this cycle to finish let me move some stuff around." Well it kinda got out of hand and I turned up a lot of the dry sand and bit of debris. I even took a large-ish (15 lbs?) dry rock out and chiseled away at it some to make the scape more appealing. I transported it in freshwater and rinsed it in freshwater. I know I likely lost some beneficial bacteria that was on it but it was only one of many rocks.

Will this set my cycle back at all or should I not really worry about that?

Tank is, in total, 14 days old. Water went into it for the first time on the 1st of this month (now the 15th).

Go for it. Now is the time. Maybe you could use saltwater next time you mess with one of your rocks.
