the anemone wasn’t looking so good in my friends house so I brought it home it has a tear on its foot and it I just looked bad...
I acclimated it and put it in my tank which is 2 years old and well establish.. the anemone after just a few seconds attached it self to the rock right away and opened but is missing a lot of its tentacles wil it recover or is a goner ?
Also it has green color still but also some white on it ..
It also has not eaten in weeks should I feed it or wait ?
I already put the sponge in the mp40 so we are good on that here are some pictures of when I got it from my freind to my tank u guys let me know how it is ... the last picture is when the light turned off in my aquarium ...

I would give it a week or so before trying to feed. Especially since it has color. If the foot is torn there is no guarantee it will make it, but certainly worth the effort to try.

Like caveman said give it a week so it gets used to the tank and the try feeding it and keep an eye on it .
It may l deflate for a day or two but don’t be alarmed, it’s doing a water change .

Sorry for the confusion but the anemone it’s self is doing a water change . It will expel all the water it’s holding which causes it to deflate .
Ohhh okay okay I get you... do you know why is missing a lot of tenticles and I just noticed is bleached as well in a lot of places

The tentacles are missing because of starvation and the bleaching will recover with time .

okays thats good to hear so when do i feed it and what do i feed it. i do know that if i feed it a big meal it will take a lot of energy of him to consume it. will those tentacles grow back
