Rescuing frags from friends crashed tank

So my friend had a nano tank with torch corals, frogspawn, and a fuzzy mushroom but he recently had an alkalinity crash and all the corals detached from their skeletons. He said I could have the frags but I'm at a loss as to what to do with them. I pretty much had to shut off all flow in my tank for them to stay in place. Could I glue them to a frag plug or something? Thanks!

Huh? I want to put them in to my tank but I need to mount them somehow. They are just floating around in my tank lol.

I was suggesting a dish like some do with shrooms and they do with nems at the lfs. I used a half a clam shell once.

I'd prefer to mount them to something a little more attractive.

Forget about those, they are history when they let go of their skeleton.
Now the mushroom can reattach it self again but as salty says got to protect them from the flow.

the coral left its skeletons? I guess there isn't much you can do. Maybe glue it back into the skeleton? sorry Frogspawn is not possible to fix if it lost its tentacles.. I guess.
the mushroom.. you should be able to glue it on a simple fragstone

No, I had a torch that detached from the skeleton and ended up behind some rocks. Grew a new skeleton.

Weird then that once I acclimated it to my tank it actually opened up and looked alright lol. So it's 100% a goner then? It can't just reattach to some live rock?

Is that the euphyllia in your tank?
I think that's a anemone, euphyllias don't have a foot like that.
There's a reason why the corals let go during a crash or after, not many corals are happy campers especially when they let go from their skeleton and just float around.

It will grow a new skeleton. I had the same thing happen.
It will survive.

Is there more than one head of it? Something in the background looks similar. The base does look like a foot but I can't say I've seen a detached frogspawn like robin or a nem with that coloration.

Is there anything on the base to attach too? I assumed it was a soft polyp that need time to form some skeleton.
But yea I guess you just try gluing it to a frag plug.

i like that you can see something new every day in this hobby, never have I seen torch heads let go like that. Crazy...

Right?! Well, I will leave them in my tank and try to nurture them back... If they die they die I guess.
