Rescuring 2 baby clownfish

agree with the small but regular water changes and several small feedings a day rather than a lot at any one time

best of luck and hope all needs up well for you and your charges

Hi everyone,

I am rescuing two poor clownfish from a not-so-responsible LFS. Both appeared to have part of their tails bitten off (or is it a disease?) and were neglected in a corner.

They are now in my bare, 5G, all-in-one tank. Tried my best to keep PH, KH, NO3, NO4, salinity in check. This being my first saltwater tank I can certainly use all the help I can get.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Can't see any disease signs based on photos. Recommend continue observing.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
