good morning R2Rers!

Since I’m moving my tank and my fish and Coral are with friends (and doing well thank goodness!) I thought it would be a good opportunity to reseal the sides of the tank which have pretty abused due to all the scraping. My question is do I have to reseal the bottom as well even though it looks good? If I do I’ll need to remove the corner overflow to get to the rest of the silicon. Not sure if overlaying new silicon over old silicon in the corners is possible...any thoughts?????

Yes you need to do the bottom because silicone wont bond to silicone funny enough. So you won't get a good seal to the bottom silicone.
