Resealing curb find 40 breeder

Hey all,

I got my hands on a 40 breeder in a curb drop
Tested it and no leaks, but I think I want to reseal it anyway for insurance.

Is it really as easy as cutting old sealant, acetone washing, and rebuilding?

Is there any benefit to leaving a thick corner seal a la Redsea g2+ corners?

I guess I have a lot of questions, can I also use this as an opportunity to make it rimless?

haven't done so myself, but there should be lots of videos on youtube of how other people may have done their resealing.

edit: i think the trim will be your challenge. its usually glued onto the glass

I tried once but it just wasn't worth the effort for me. I didn't get past trying to remove the frame, I ended up breaking it and buying a new one defeated the purpose. Maybe a large tank but not a 40g breeder. JMO
